This is my first post, as you can see. The intent of this blog is to help keep my family and friends up to date on what's happening now that Ryan and I are living in Denver. We have been here for almost three months. Ryan is in seminary full time and I am staying at home preparing for the arrival of our first child. My 34th week is to begin in just a couple of days.
It's snowing here. Denver had a record low of 18 degrees early this morning. It is not unusual for it to get cold and snow in October, but it doesn't usually get that cold, even in January or February! It just started to snow again a few minutes ago, and we have about an inch on the ground. The aspens have hardly begun to turn yellow!

Before now I didn't think I had much to say, but with a baby and another step toward ministry it seems that perhaps I do. I'll try to keep up with yours, too. I'm not so good at it, but if I have my own I'll be thinking of others blogs, too! Don't be a stranger. ;-)

ReplyDeleteSnow already isn't uncommon at all where you are. I recall in my younger years living in Maine and trick-or-treating in the snow. Fun times but I was a bit chilly in my costume. :)
I encourage you to come and sign up for some of the giveaways on my blog... The best thing I won from a blog when my baby girl was much younger was a $300 stroller. I don't bring in enough traffic on my blog to giveaway items like that but even the little stuff that I can offer to other mom's out there is such a blessing to them and so worth doing. :) I think of it as ministry and thank the Lord everyday for it!
